First award for our wines from the Sokay Series!

This week begins with the satisfaction of a job well done that has not gone unnoticed by the wine community. 

We are very pleased to share with you that this year's Vinaria 2024 exhibition awarded Chukara Winery with two gold medals and one silver. This is also the first award our wines have received. We hope this recognition will turn into a tradition that will continue to develop and build over time.

The first gold medal was won by our Sauvignon Blanc Socay. This wine offers refined elegance and harmony. It reveals aromas of ripe pear and grapefruit, with light hints of lime and tropical fruit. A perfect addition to the fresh spring season.

The second gold medal was won by our most popular red wine Blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sokay series. The wine was aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels and reveals incredible softness and nobility. The blend combines a wealth of aromas and flavors of black cherry and blackcurrant and a magnificent structure. With its rich nuances of noble oak, vanilla and spices, the wine is a real pleasure for the senses. Everyone's favorite in the winter months, paired with cheeses and meat delicacies.

The silver medal fairly went to Rosé Sokay. This wine's elegant bouquet reveals aromas of strawberry and wild berries. The wine is suitable for consumption throughout the year, thanks to its exceptional balance and memorable taste with a lasting finish.
